Laser Range Finder Module (OTL-ELRF J40)

Product Overview

The OTL- ELRF J40 laser rangefinder module is developed around a self-designed 1535 nm erbium laser. It uses single-pulse time-of-flight (TOF) ranging and specifies a maximum measurement range of ≥10 km. The module integrates the laser, transmitting optical system, receiving optical system, and control circuit board. Communication with the host computer is provided through an RS422 serial interface.

The source describes the module as compact and lightweight, with stable performance, high impact resistance, and Class 1 eye-safe classification. Intended applications include handheld, vehicle-mounted, and pod-based electro-optical equipment.

Actual range depends on target size, diffuse reflectance, and atmospheric visibility; the source provides separate ranges for vehicles, buildings, and personnel.
